Well as soon as simon had left Snowey (marie and Terry's cat) moved back into position at the end of my bed. she loves it there, although its a little annoying when she wants to be let out and all hours of the night.

we are back in leeds and today Marie and Terry took us to an abbey about an hours drive from leeds, it was a world heritage listed site and was amazing. it was Fountains abbey and studley royal. it had these amazing grounds and water ponds that we walked up to and then there was this massive abbey that had been dissolved on the king's orders. but it was still amazing even though it was a bit on the falling down side. and there were a few interesting statues...

well we are back from our couple of days in ireland, which was nice. we only went to dublin because of our limited time there, but it was really wonderful, it reminded us a lot of Newcastle in Australia. (apart from they talk a little different). this is simon and i at the guinness factory in dublin - it was a must... its amazing how large the place is, they have 64 hectares of 'guiness land'. and they have a fantastic bar at the top of the factory which over looks all of dublin. it was quite amazing.

well we are very sorry to hear about the jets not getting through to the finals (simon was up early to listen to it on the internet). but the reason they lost was because simon and i went to the leeds united game the night before are gave them all our luck (becuase they are coming bottom of the table and havent won in a long time. but they beat crystal palace 2-1 which was great... but it was also amazing to be in a stadium that big and hear all the crowd chanting - it really puts the jet's squadron to shame.

this is the angel of the north which is just outside Newcastle in England - you may just be able to make out simon at the base of it - it is very big!!
and once again i got more snow balls thrown at me...

Simon also got to have his first encounter with snow - he was very excited, although i wasnt after he throw the first few snow balls at me. although it is snowing here now, which is nice to get a white time.

well i am not speaking to any of you anymore... i cant believe that you all kept simon coming across a secret from me !!! but anyway we have spent the last week doing a very fast tour of england through the car - with my mother and her partner. Simon got to see alot of england and i got to see a lot i hadnt seen before - we also managed to cross into scotland for a short while. This photo is of simon and i at the Bath, where they have this hot baths that are run from a natural spring.
