After a warm spring afternoon, we had a thunderstorm roll in and the scare Kitty quite a bit... But these photos were taken just on Sunset after the storm then the following morning when a thick fog stayed round most of the morning. However once the fog lifted it turned into a lovely spring day.

In the last 12 months our garden has come on quite a bit... thanks to the garden lover who spends every spare minute out in the garden. But the vegetable garden is coming along wonderfully, we soon will be eating most of our vegies from the garden. we have peas, potatoes (5 different kinds), tomatoes, spinach (english and baby), garlic, ginger, rosemary, kohl rabbi, cabbages, leek, rhubarb and herbs...

This weekend we attended one of Simon's friends wedding - It was held in Newcastle Christ Church cathedral. It was a great day, and fun was had by all especially when those unexpected events happen that weren't suppose too. This first photo is of Simon and myself at dad's before the wedding, the wedding was just around the corner from his house. And this is the new look Katy with even shorter hair !!!

And this is of course the bride and groom, Trevor and Wanda, they both looked really nice. And the weather was wonderful.

For Christmas we were given some money off some very lovely friends and with it we decided that we would get a strimmer/line trimmer for simon. This is him in action on the first day, every edge and corner was done in the whole yard.
Well Christmas came and went here very quickly, i had to work up until Christmas, but then i had a little over a weeks holiday, during the Christmas and new year period. But unfortunately i am back at work again....
It was a little different to what Scotland was like last year. Although the weather was not great and i spent the day in jeans and a jumper which is a little different because usually you don't get out of swimwear.

We spent Christmas eve at my mother's house with all that side of the family.

Then on Christmas morning we went to visit Simon's nanny who lives about 20 minutes from us, but very rarely leaves the house.

Christmas lunch/afternoon was spent at Simon's parent's house with all their side of the family. (photo on the left).

This is Freya, one of our nieces who is showing what she got for her Christmas. a very pretty tutu. As always the children got lots of nice things, and the adults got lots of unusual things....

Then on Christmas Night we were back out to my mum's again where we stuffed ourselves full of even more food, and chocolate of course.

This was Nana on Christmas night.
